“Are we getting something out of this all encompassing trip?”
It’s one of my favorite lines from one of my favorite songs and it’s also a great question to ask yourself. Are we getting something out of this crazy adventure that we call our everyday lives? I’ve asked myself this question many, many times and have come up with one definitive answer.
And what we are getting are priceless memories.
That’s where I come in.
Memories could very well be the most cherished things in our lives…and what’s more important than capturing the moments that make up these memories? My goal is to create images that stir emotion as well as recreate the moment. I am a visual storyteller and I am beyond passionate about what I do.
Born and raised here in Maine, the greatest state in the land, I am a true Mainer at heart. I love all four seasons (well, I wouldn’t mind skipping spring every few years) and genuinely enjoy meeting new people. My images reflect my personality in many ways – colorful and fun.
I am, for the most part, a self-taught photographer, but have been guided along the way in my career by very skillful hands. I fell in love with photography at a very young age, but only fully realized this love in my late twenties and it quickly fueled a creative fire that I (honestly) was not completely aware of. I am unique in my approach and my outgoing, enthusiastic personality allows me to quickly gain the trust of my clients, resulting in genuine, moving images.
A very special thank you to my parents buying me my first Yashica film camera at age 12 – to my family for always believing in me – to Emily Mitchell at Everyday Films for constant inspiration – and to Laura Lee St. Peter at Laura Lee Photography for motivation and overall awesomeness.
